End Of Days by Susan Ee...

Susan Ee has done it yet again!!!... I cannot express how much I loved this third and last book. It was all I expected and more. She has such an eloquent expression of words and characters that subside within. I hope to see and read more by her!!!!

Sand? Or Just A Thing Of Dirt?!?!?! Sand By Hugh Howey

Sand by Hugh Howey

Certainly a slow start, as sand itself moves sometimes. I was quite leery if I would even be able to get into this story and connect with these people.
It honestly took a few weeks for me to get very far between life and not being drawn into this book... but suddenly the tides changed and I was swept away into this world of sand and sand divers even when I didn't understand what Hugh meant with certain words or phrases. I couldn't tear myself away from knowing what was going to happen.
Beautifully written in irony, idioms, similes, and prose. I was taken aback at how intricate every part of the characters' stories were intertwined with sand. This book ties itself to each character's view point within this post-apocalyptic type of world.
Prepare to be thirsty in this desert world for more!!!

Just A Dream? Or A Religious Slip?!?

Dome Of Dreams by Mark Brakovich

Opening the book I thought it was going to be post apocalyptic sci-fi and although it was a little of both... it wasn't at all what I had expected.
It played deep into the new age idea of everyone is a god... that they only need to pray to and amongst themselves to get what they need.
The world was brought down because man had forgotten that every one could be god. They had relied too much on other gods, rather than themselves.
Seeing as my religious beliefs are completely different it was a little strange. But setting that aside it was pretty sweet. Mysterious and a fast read.
The stories of our two main ladies are elegantly spun together as we wonder how these two are so intricately connected.
All in all it was a good book and came together very well in the end. As long as you dont care about the religious outlook or can set that part aside it's a good story.
