Code Breakers Book 1:Alpha by Colin F Barnes

I love sci-fi... I love intelligence.... and this book brings it in both. I will say it is a bit more technologically inclined. There are different references to code etc that just loses me haha but I respect and am intrigued by it. Colin has a great mind to build such an evolving world. Advanced technology is scary and enticing and I believe he brings both aspects into this book. Although I wasn't enamored by this book I look forward to reading the second as I was left hanging in mid-space as to what is going to happen next!!!!

End Of Days by Susan Ee...

Susan Ee has done it yet again!!!... I cannot express how much I loved this third and last book. It was all I expected and more. She has such an eloquent expression of words and characters that subside within. I hope to see and read more by her!!!!

A Loving Matter? Or Lack Thereof?! Loving Lauren by Jill Sanders

Loving Lauren By Jill Sanders

Get ready for an un-explosive, less than mediocre, love story.... I always get excited when there's new york times bestselling author... etc etc. But honestly what a letdown. It's a love story I felt I would've written in middle school when I knew nothing of love or sex. This story just wasn't believable. From the way the characters interacted to the story plot itself.
I think even the hallmark channel would be ashamed.

Forgotten? Or Lost Forever?!?!?! The Forgotten Girls by Alexa Steele

The Forgotten Girls by Alexa Steele

Alexa Steele is the newest up and coming author! I'm so excited to rave about this book. If you're looking for a real feeling murder mystery/thriller/full of suspense... this is a must read! I was a little hesitant that our main character is a woman but honestly the story has other characters that actually add to what Bella does... it isn't just about her. She isn't juuust the person to solve the mystery which makes it feel even more real. EEEEK!

Alexa had me excited and guessing the whole time. I felt like it was definitely something I'd see on t.v. Which if someone out there is smart enough they'll make it into a movie ;)

The Forgotten Girls is a great novel and she plans on having a sequel so that we can follow Bella to the next mystery! Cannot wait!!!!!

To Love? Or Not To?!?! The 5 Love Languages The Secret To Love That Lasts by Gary Chapman

The 5 Love Languages- The Secret to Love That Lasts by Gary Chapman

What a great insight! This book is filled with knowledge of how people give and receive love.  It definitely made me think in retrospect into my own past relationships and the way we showed one another love. Simply put: It just makes sense. Whether you're married or single I think it's a great book to take some lessons from. However I am excited to read the book he has for 'singles' seeing as I'm not married myself. But whether you're just starting out in marriage or dating.... or if you are on the brink of divorce and want to save your marriage... this is an amazing book. Doctor Chapman is definitely onto something.

The Cure? Or the Epidemic Continues?!?! The Death Cure by James Dashner

The Death Cure by James Dashner

The third and final of this series.... are you ready????? I was... or at least I thought I was. Whenever I get into a book this much I almost rush through and then instantly regret it all as soon as it's over :( all I want is to live in the world that James Dashner created for just a little longer.... Can you please make a fourth? Thanks ;)
What can I say, I wasn't let down in the least by this book. You're still wondering up until the last page and the epilogue what curve might be thrown. I wasn't let down in the least. Definitely a must read if you're into dystopian/post apocalyptic with a bit of sci-fi and lots of drama thrown in.

Hot? Or On Fire?!?!?! The Scorch Trials by James Dashner

The Scorch Trials by James Dashner

What can I say? It just gets better as we realize the trials are NOT over to find the cure for the Flare..... I ended up sleeping next to my pup a couple nights... I ended up being scared from the vivid pictures my mind portrayed of these poor souls losing their minds.... the world essentially falling apart in front of us. I wanted so bad for these groups to find a cure or get away from WICKED...

Be ready to say goodbye to some characters you may have fallen in love with... a great second to this book series. Cannot wait for the third...

A Maze? Or Just The Run Around?!?!?! The Maze Runner by James Dashner

The Maze Runner By James Dashner

There's no question as to how great a book this was! The dialect.... the emotion... the thrill...
If you like dystopian mixed with mystery and a bit of sci-fi zombie-ism this will do it!
I started this book after watching the movie, and I will stand behind that I thoroughly enjoyed both, but the book was by far better. A riveting run through a messed up maze of scientific experiments and trials on mere children. But to follow these kids as they create their own mini society and law within was simply intriguing. I cannot wait to read the second book that I just downloaded.

What a break to read two great books back to back. I thought for sure I was in a dry boring reading spell, BOY has that turned around!!!!!!

Sand? Or Just A Thing Of Dirt?!?!?! Sand By Hugh Howey

Sand by Hugh Howey

Certainly a slow start, as sand itself moves sometimes. I was quite leery if I would even be able to get into this story and connect with these people.
It honestly took a few weeks for me to get very far between life and not being drawn into this book... but suddenly the tides changed and I was swept away into this world of sand and sand divers even when I didn't understand what Hugh meant with certain words or phrases. I couldn't tear myself away from knowing what was going to happen.
Beautifully written in irony, idioms, similes, and prose. I was taken aback at how intricate every part of the characters' stories were intertwined with sand. This book ties itself to each character's view point within this post-apocalyptic type of world.
Prepare to be thirsty in this desert world for more!!!

Hidden? Or Obnoxiously Apparent?!?!?!?!

A Hidden Fire by Elizabeth Hunter

I love vampire stories.... whether it's like the 'Lost Boys' back in the 1980s/ Anne Rice's 'Interview with a Vampire' or even the newer 'Vampire Diaries'/ Stephenie Meyer's 'Twilight' series.

HOWEVER..... I cannot stand the unbelievable -"I....I know what you are............ a Vampire" DUN DUN DUUUUUN. = LAME!!!!

This novel starts exactly like that. I wanted to like it... wanted to fall for the sexy Vampire characters. But it was rather foolishly written. Many things were complete opposite of what you'd expect, don't get me wrong obviously you want surprises in a thrilling book... this was just so much of so that events and character traits did not make sense to what the true characters would do, react, or be.
